Take a break and unwind at this peaceful home in Cruden Bay. There are bookshelves in nearly every room with a huge variety of subjects. Feb 2024: Due to popular demand we have added a Freeview TV in the main living area. It is near to the beach, a short walk from Slains Castle or the harbour. We have an award winning golf course and lovely places to eat within walking distance. We are a 30 minute drive to our nearest city, Aberdeen and 10 minutes drive to our nearest town, Peterhead.

The Shepherdess's bothy is our dog friendly bothy that really brings the outdoors in with panoramic views across the beautiful Aberdeenshire coast. This cosy, self catering, bespoke bothy is the perfect place to explore the area. Within walking distance of the bothy you will find the Newburgh seal colony, beautiful beaches, nature reserves and a golf course. Cosy Roo’s Cottage, nestled in the heart of Ellon, boasts a spacious enclosed back garden. McDonald Woods & golf course are right on the doorstep, with only a five-minute walk to Ellon’s dog-friendly cafes, restaurants, and shops. Take a tour of the famous BrewDog Headquarters, only 20 minutes on foot or 5 minutes by car. Enjoy a scenic stroll along the beautiful River Ythan, where you might spot swans, ducks, and even the occasional otter, before visiting the stunning Ellon Castle Gardens.

The cottage has spectacular views, 3 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms (1 en-suite). A small enclosed yard to the rear and a bench and parking area to the front. Included in the price is electricity and heating, a basket of logs and kindling for the log burning stove in the cottage, cupboard items such as tea, coffee. There is a smart tv, should you wish to use it (the view is the best tv!) and WiFi. The house is a traditional fishing cottage in a quiet village situated on the NE250 route.
