Enjoy an exceptional 180° view of the Dordogne while swimming in our infinity pool (open May to October only) or hot tub (available all year). Our property sits on 4 acres of tranquil countryside at the top of the verdant Dordogne valleys. Sit back, have a glass of wine, and watch the hot air balloons paint across the sky at sunrise or sunset. Use our bicycles to explore the locale or BBQ outside and take in the scenery.

Charming converted bakery near Sarlat, heated pool

Le Fournil at Le Clos du Comte was originally built as the bakehouse for the hamlet of Mas de Cause, about 2 km above the village of Daglan. It has now been tastefully renovated to create a characterful 2 bedroom cottage. It is within 20 km of the medieval town of Sarlat and all the major sights of the Dordogne, including the Vallée des Cinq Chateaux. At the end of a busy day, you can return to relax on the estate, which comprises 45 acres of unspoiled, utterly tranquil forest and pasture.

De multiples activités culturelles et sportives sont proposées : musées, sites touristiques, grottes, canoë kayak, randonnée, VTT, pêche, baignade, équitation, marchés.

Dit vakantiehuis is een oase van rust met de ruime en weelderige tuin, terrassen en zwembad. De karakteristieke ´périgourdine´ is een ruim huis voorzien van alle confort. Op de begane grond bevindt zich de woonkamer met half open keuken, een serre met prachtig uitzicht op de tuin en omliggende heuvels, twee slaapkamers, de badkamer met douche en toilet, een apart toilet en een ruimte met wasmachine en droger. Op de eerste verdieping komt u via een vide in de derde slaapkamer.

Centrally located in the village of Daglan is Le Clos de Paradis gites and chambre d’hote. The tourist office is next door and there are 2 amazing restaurants and a creperie just along the street. Take a stroll to the river with a picnic or stray further afield to explore the many chateaux and markets.

Fournel is a small elevated hamlet with far reaching views all around, the perfect place to relax in stunning tranquil surroundings. It has a totally private pool with large terrace surround, in the middle of 5 acres of grass land and wood. Sleeps 6/8, with built in kitchen in both main upper house and ground floor Gite.

In the center of Périgord Noir, 15 minutes from the city of Sarlat, the cottage Les Pierres Blondes offers accommodation "Les Vinaigriers". You will enjoy its absolute calm, its private terrace, its landscaped garden and the heated swimming pool from May to the end of september. The river La Dordogne is 5 minutes by car with its canoe rentals and including the cingle of Turnac with its beautiful wild beach.
