The famous Coumeenoole beach is a 10 minute stroll, Dingle town is 10 miles away and Killarney 50 miles.

The accommodation comprises of one King bed downstairs, a mezzanine with 2 single beds and second mezzanine with one single bed, both accessed by ladder. Cottage is Off Grid, lights and fridge are solar powered,. Cooker, hot water, heating and shower are powered by gas.

Driftwood is located on the Wild Atlantic Way and on the Kerry Walkway. Killarney is 33kms and Dingle is 80 kms. We are 7 kms to the fabulous Dooks Golf Course. Policy: Only the number of persons booked as stated on the booking form are allowed to stay. There is also no smoking or pets allowed.

The village is situated at an intersection of the Kerry Way walking trail and the world famous Ring of Kerry motorists’ route. It is a charming location, cosily resting at the bottom of the Curragh and Seefin Mountains. It is probably best known for its golden blue flag unspoilt Rossbeigh Beach which lies 1.5 km from the village.

We are situated on the Beara Peninsula, just up the road from Helen's Bar in Kilmackilogue. Our Shepherds Hut called The Bothy, overlooks the sea, and is three minutes walk to the beach. Enjoy nature at its best with views of Kenmare Bay and its surrounding mountains. It is a hikers paradise, lying just off 'The Beara Way' . Cyclists will also be in their element with The Healy Pass a few kilometres away. Kenmare is half an hour away with wonderful shops and restaurants.
