It is perched just above the waves with the most beautiful views across Portling Bay to the white sands of Merse Head nature reserve. The Lodge is not in a holiday park it stands alone with it's own private driveway, parking and garden. It’s so quiet, a retreat to escape and relax, by sitting watching and listening to the waves. The Lodge has a large glass roofed deck. Well behaved dogs are considered, please ask first.

There is also a large private decking area with its very own wood fired hot tub and barbecue, all wood supplied.

Situated in a non commercial development south of Dumfries between Lochanhead and the magnificent Solway coast. Just off the A711, located 1 mile from the village of Beeswing and 5 miles from Dumfries town centre and 6 miles from Dalbeattie on the Solway coastal tourist driving route.
