Every cottage offers privacy, quiteness and amazing panoramic views on 360 degrees.three bedrooms (one double bed and two with bunk beds), an open plan room with a well equipped kitchen. outside you can relax in your own private large wooden terrace equipped with a fantastic hot tub and a propane BBQ.

Beautiful, warm and cosy cottage for 2 people. It's located in the countryside 18 km from the town Egilsstaðir on road 931. It's on the south side of the lake on the way to Hallormsstaður the biggest forest in Iceland. The next grocery store is in Egilsstaðir. Good paved road, passable all the year. Quiet, peaceful and beautiful landscape, nice hiking trails down to the lake or up to the hills, good place to see the northern lights in wintertime.

This is my full-time home, and there are some cupboards reserved for my personal things, but rest assured, there is plenty of space left for your belongings.

The cottage is located near the owner’s farm with lovely views over the nearby stream to the mountains behind. It is around 12 Km from Egilsstaðir and is well situated for exploring the spectacular nature of East Iceland. The farm offers horse riding.
