The Barn Loughatorick North

Loughatorick North (Eircode H62WV60) is THE location for guests that want to escape the everyday buzz. Off the beaten track but within reach of the 'Wild Atlantic' West-Coast, historic sites in East Galway & Clare, Lough Derg and the wildlife of Sliabh Aughty. We are next to Lough Atorick for swimming or fishing. The Barn is self catering and equiped for preparing simple meals, but we are happy to help out with fresh vegetables from the garden or with easy directions to the nearest restaurant!

Barn Loft in Cong

A perfect location to relax & explore Cong, Connemara & the West of Ireland. The barn loft is situated 1.5 miles from Ashford Castle/Cong Village. The loft sleeps 4/5 persons (2 double bedrooms, single portable guest bed) and has a large living space, kitchen, & bathroom. There are 14 steps to the entrance, which is lighted externally. Use of a large mature garden and a short walk to Lough Corrib. Freezer is available & storage for bicycles and fishing equipment. Free parking & dog friendly.

Clifden, The Barn on the Wild Atlantic Way.

The Barn is a unique old stone barn but modern, with an open plan sitting/kitchen/ eating area with cathedral ceiling and a long narrow window overlooking the Salt Lake to one side, a small window looking down to the sea on the other. There are two bedrooms and a wet room style bathroom (no bathtub) but plenty of hot water and underfloor heating. It is wonderfully quiet, a real retreat for those who just want to escape. A lovely hiking trail is just up the hill past St. Patrick's Church. Located in the village of New Quay on the scenic Wild Atlantic Way, we are on the route to Ballyvaughan and the Ciffs of Moher. (A car is necessary - we are in a very beautiful rural area with very limited public transport.)

Positioned just a stone throw from Roscommon Castle and just a 5 minute walk into vibrant town centre. It is also less than a 5 minute drive to the train station. Our quaint retreat is also right beside the Omniplex cinema. Please notice, it's a tiny house! It has everything you need for a comfortable stay for 2 adults. 120 years old restored cottage situated in a scenic and secluded area. It is surrounded by lakes and mountains and an ideal base for a fishing and touring holiday in Galway, Connemara and Mayo. a wonderful location, for hill walking ,outdoor pursuit's, angling, water sports ,nature. Heating and electricity is included, and an inital complementary bag of firewood is supplied for the stove.
