We absolutely loved our stay. Nathan was incredibly welcoming and allowed us to use his place for our small wedding ceremony. It was the most amazing day and we really enjoyed our entire stay. Thanks again Nathan!! We will always remember this beautiful space that we held our special day at. ☺️

Michelle is a very friendly host who makes it easy to feel comfortable in her home. Her home is accurate to the description and photos, and the room we occupied met our needs for the night. Highly recommend Michelle's place for anyone looking for a home away from home, wants to get to know a local, and enjoys a good chat.

Our family of 5 had a great stay here. Nice, private and peaceful place. Checkin was super easy and Jacob was helpful and gave clear instructions.

Great spot, quiet location yet within easy walking distance of the township. Was a nice touch to arrive to a nice fire burning after a busy day. Thoroughly recommend if you are looking for something with a nice comfortable homely feel, in or around Cambridge.

Chloe and Tom were a dream to deal with. Prompt, efficient and friendly. Their home is family friendly, warm and cosy. The location is ideal for any Tamahere/ Matangi commitments. Will stay again hopefully if needing accommodation for 10! Thankyou so much 💓

Our stay at this incredible retreat was nothing short of amazing! From the moment we arrived, we were blown away by the modern design, incredible spaciousness, and overall warmth of the home. It is impeccably kept, beautifully designed, and stocked with every amenity we could possibly need—truly a home away from home. Visiting many beautiful places in New Zealand, simply spending time in this home became a massive highlight of our trip. Whether we were enjoying breakfast on the patio or taking a dip in the pool, every moment felt like a five star retreat. The surrounding area is breathtaking, with lush greenery, rolling hills, and peaceful views. It feels like a true escape however it is just a short drive from the city, shopping, and freeway making it the perfect balance of relaxation and convenience. Our hostess Tracy was an absolute gem—so welcoming, accommodating, and genuinely kind. She went above and beyond to ensure we were taken care. We will absolutely be back!

Rest at Rahu is a 10/10 Airbnb. It was so clean and cute! The prefect getaway for me and my partner. Have to mention the home made granola - that stuff was unreal. We smashed the whole jar! Thank you Corrie 🩵

Amazing place! Stuart was very friendly and in constant communication, ensuring everything was okay with the place. The cabin is beautiful, peaceful and secluded. Be mindful in winter to bring a good jacket with you, as the kitchen area is exposed, but the fireplace helps reduce the cold and makes it a good experience. The room is super cozy and warm, plus the fan heater helps a lot to keep you warm. Overall, great experience, perfect getaway for couples. I highly recommend it! Absolutely breathtaking views sound this gorgeous cabin! It was cozy & comfortable. A highlight was taking the free kayaks for a paddle for more beautiful scenery on the water. Plus a bonus to be greeted by friendly goats on our way through the paddock down to the river. We found the shower tricky to maintain at a comfortable temperature, but that’s not uncommon when living off the grid. We’d absolutely recommend for a special experience!

Can't recommend this spot enough. my partner and I were looking for a cozy, blissful getaway from the city, and we found it! The living space was perfect for spreading out and playing board games, the kitchen had everything we needed to eat like kings, and the bedroom was so deliciously comfortable. The outdoor bath and shower were wonderful despite the autumn chill. Great location, not too close to Hamilton, but close enough to be able to nip to the shops easily. We had a fantastic few days here!!!

I loved staying at Peter's getaway! I was peaceful, relaxing and not far to get to any main towns. Have the spa and BBQ were awesome. Would definitely stay again and would highly recommended.

We had the most wonderful stay at the Shepherd's Hut. Louise and Aaron are super friendly and helpful. The accommodation was exactly what we needed to soothe our souls after a very busy few months and the perfect way to begin our vacation. The view of the valley below from our bed in the morning was outstanding and changed constantly with the clouds and mist. The hot tub under the night sky on a freezing night was divine. My only regret is that we don't live close enough to visit on a regular basis. Thank you also to Louise for providing us with the most delicious chocolate slice. We drove away rested and calm with sad hearts at leaving Shepherd's Hut. Thank you, Lem and Fiona

We had a great stay. Beautifully furnished and simplistically modern. Our Host was so accommodating and it exceeded our expectations! So much thought put into all the details especially the small ones and what guests may require during their stay! Can’t fault it. Would def love to return another time.
