Relax and unwind in this artist-run bohemian retreat. Tucked away in the village of Preston, surrounded by orchards, you'll enjoy a peaceful 'get-away' yet be in easy reach of local amenities and Kent's stunning coastline. The studio is blissfully quiet, set back from the cottage with its own entrance under a vine-covered pergola, with access to a large garden. Your host is happy to interact as much or as little as you like, and will gladly share the best experiences the area has to offer.

The cabin is a 5-minute walk from the train station and 10 minutes to the beach and vibrant high street. You’ll be within easy reach of independent shops, cafés, wine bars & restaurants—everything you need for your stay.

The cabin has a comfortable double bed, smart TV, Wardrobe, breakfast bar/laptop work station, several USB points, microwave, fridge, toaster, kettle, sink/drainer with hot & cold water A chemical toilet is provided in the cabin for night use. There’s a private toilet & a wonderful hot shower both outside (as per photos) for guest’s use. The front decked veranda adjoins an outdoor kitchen with 2 ring gas hob & brick built BBQ overlooking a large garden that has a lovely view of the sea/sunset.

Annex at the bottom of our garden with its own patio area with views of the pool and garden. Nice quiet area with fields and woodland walks nearby Keys left in door - guests can let themselves in, we are generally around if you have questions There is BBQ area and a heated pool (shared with hosts) for stays of 2 days or more. Take it easy at this unique and tranquil getaway with its big cosy sofa & elegant king size bed. the cabin style is English colonial with a seaside twist. The style continues out into your own large private garden. It's an 8 minute stroll to the beach/ nature reserve and 5 to the station that has direct links to kent coastal towns & London Victoria. The popular town of Whitstable famous for its oysters, music scene & eclectic shops, pubs & restaurants is a short drive or bus ride away.

The Coastal Soul by the Sea

Take it easy at this unique and tranquil getaway. Located on the Cliff tops of Beltinge and just a just a stones throw away from the beach. This is the perfect place to kick off your shoes and relax after a long day enjoying the beautiful sights and coastal walks on offer. The apartment itself is nestled away in a very quiet cliff top road, very few cars use the road. Located in the pretty village of Beltinge, there is a small supermarket, post office and pub within walking distance.

The Whitstable Oyster - a self-contained studio

The Whitstable Oyster is a private, self-contained studio in a converted side building of our family home. Situated on a quiet road, it’s a 10-minute walk to Whitstable’s high street and around 20 minutes to the beach, with a Co-op close by. Inside, you’ll find a king-size bed, TV, compact kitchen with hob and combi-oven, dining table, sofa, and a separate shower room with toilet. Free street parking is available. A practical and comfortable base to enjoy Whitstable from.

Quiet hideaway near the beach, with a garden sauna

A stylish, laid back retreat minutes from the sea. With the option of enjoying a relaxing sauna and invigorating cold plunge which is paid for separately. Alba Lodge is a light, airy, double height space, designed with sustainability in mind. Drift off to sleep in the king size bed and freshen up in the large walk in shower. The kitchen is a reclaimed carpenter's bench equipped with all the essentials. The sauna and cold plunge is £30 per couple, per session.
