Swinburne Castle

Swinburne Castle is perfectly situated within its own beautiful parkland and gardens. Traditionally decorated, parts of the house have tremendous history dating back to the 12th century. The east wing is extremely comfortable and private, and don't be perturbed by the stone steps leading down to the vaulted cellar. A delicious continental breakfast will be provided in your rooms. There is ample parking and a tennis court you are welcome to use. lovely footpaths from the house for keen walkers.

Bellingham is only 2 miles away by car with a Co-op , pubs, Chinese take out to name but a few ammenities .

Chollerton House is located in the hamlet of Chollerton and is set in its own grounds overlooking the river North Tyne which is just a hundred yards away across our own paddock. Built in 1780, this thick -walled cosy cottage has historic charm with modern comforts. South facing with stone walled garden, from which you can survey a spectacular view 20 miles deep and 35 miles wide over the Tyne valley. The cottage is at 700 feet above sea level and you feel you are on the roof of England. It is situated in a quiet rural location 2 miles from both Hexham and Corbridge and half an hour from Newcastle.
