The large property allows children to play and explore and there are also local playgrounds a short walk down the road with the beach.

A 5 minute hike to this "chickadee cabin" nestled in the larches will give a rewarding view. 160 acres with trails in field and forest. Sample three organic gardens with fruit, berries, herbs, and flowers. Close to Pigeon Lake and golf courses. Back to the basics in the comfort of a rustic cabin. Gospel themed property. <p>The Tiny Home Cabin offers an inviting year-round getaway surrounded by forest a short walk away. With space for up to four guests, it features a double bed, futon, two loft beds, kitchenette (mini fridge, toaster, kettle, microwave, hot plate), potable water jug &amp; dispenser, TV with DVDs &amp; games, a private compost-toilet outhouse, and a private outdoor fire pit &amp; picnic area. Located steps from the playground and main lodge, it gives both family-friendly access and privacy.</p>

The Sheep Camp cabin- Bear Creek Cabins

This cabin is suitable for 2 people for a night or as an addition to the White tail cabin as an extra bedroom for your teenagers maybe? This cabin has a tiny kitchen; it has a mini sink, a mini fridge, a microwave, a hot plate and a coffee maker. Outside there is a BBQ with propane, a fire pit and a picnic table. We have 8 more unique rustic cabins, all the other ones are bigger. We are a working guest ranch and have a small western town close by. Horse riding and farm tours can be booked.

Sorsele Hus -- lakefront cottage at Pigeon Lake

Sorsele Hus is a bright, cozy two-bedroom cottage fronting directly onto Pigeon Lake. Built over 80 years ago, it has been lovingly restored to honour its original Swedish owners. The large wrap-around deck with a gas firepit opens onto a lawn next to the beach. There is public green space right next door for tossing a frisbee or kicking a ball around. The cottage is just an hour's drive from Edmonton or within cycling distance for those looking for a bicycle vacation.
