Oak Tree Hut

Rustic built wooden hut on our hillside rural property. One comfortable single bed . Breakfast corner window overlooking the fields and SH10 or outside on the little deck. Toilet and shower is at the main house which has its own seperate entrance and will be shared with other guests if they are occupying the other larger Cabin . Outside of the Main house there’s a cooking area , 2 gas points, pots,pans etc and Internet available in this area.. also double sink to wash up. Large parking area. .

The studio entails a comfortable queen bed, a 3 seater sofa bed, wardrobe. Kitchen comprises of a table & chairs, electric frypan, hotplate, microwave, toaster, fridge, tea coffee etc. Bathroom has shower, toilet and vanity. The apartment opens to a lovely deck with a BBQ, it's sunny and private. Great beaches, walks, parks, great fishing.

Fully equipped and comfortable.This location is 15 mins from the township of Kaitaia with its many shop and restuarants , 5 mins from Awanui with has 2 dairies, takeaway , petrol station. The Waipapakauri Hotel is 3mins away and serves bar meals.

My place is good for couples, solo adventurers, business travellers, and families (with kids). We have easy access to the property with a lock up double garage plus off street parking (even for a boat). The beach is only a short walk from the house. We live in a house on the same property so we are always available to help with any questions you have. Surfboards and boogie boards are available for use free of charge.

Its a short walk to Mangonui village shops and cafes. The covered courtyard at the rear of the property is private, furnished and with a Weber BBQ to enjoy outdoor dining.
