Welcome to our tropical oasis, only 800 meters walk to the beach. Our eco-friendly home sits on 1.5 acres of beautiful gardens and features a spacious veranda and private swimming pool. Our home is partially run on solar power and the gardens and swimming pool are fed with collected rainwater. Between dips in the pool and swims at the nearby beach, take a meditative walk among the 40+ coconut trees, tropical flowers, & endless plants. We hope SunPeople serves as a quiet and lovely retreat space.

Sanjarah Cottage is a delight. It is a wonderfully designed space set in a lush garden, with two en-suite double bedrooms, a gorgeous swimming pool and a long veranda with dreamy day beds. The open plan living room and very well equipped kitchen, offers a great place to chill and the cottage is fully staffed. It’s an easy 15 min walk to the beach and a few minutes to the creek. Mida Creek Retreat

Tucked away in the tranquil Mida Forest, our pretty one bedroom cottage offers the perfect blend of comfort and nature. A hideaway designed for guests who want to experience the beauty of Watamu at their own pace - wake up to birdsong, sip coffee on the verandah and wander through the mangroves, along the creek or on the beautiful white beaches. We are one of only a few houses with a private gate onto a path with direct access to the creek for SUPs, kayaks and swimming. You will love it here!

Tower House *Ushawishi* Kilifi

Ushawishi Kilifi is a rustic 2-bedroom little boutique tower house gem, tucked away in the serene & beautiful Kilifi. Ushawishi is just a 5 min walk from the serene red brick beach on Kilifi creek. It is the perfect place to escape and relax. It is self catering & self service. If you want to hire a chef in during your stay let me know in advance to book him (subject to availability) at an extra cost. We have a strickt NO PARTY policy. It is in a quiet neighbourhood. Guests must love dogs.

Isana House, or "House of the Rising Sun", was designed in a Swahili-style and is positioned to catch the north-east as well as south-east breezes, depending on the time of the year. It is furnished comfortably in an uncluttered & simple style, with locally-made Swahili/East African furniture. Each bedroom has its own sea facing verandah and our local team (a chef, 2 maids & a gardener) live on site or nearby - the Chef will cook to your requests and make your stay memorable. The Nest

‘The Nest’ is just a 5-minute stroll from the pristine Watamu Beach and comfortably accommodates up to 4 guests. The house has two double en-suite bedrooms, with an additional Swahili bed on the veranda. Each bedroom is fitted with overhead fans and enclosed by walk-in mosquito nets for your comfort. The property has WiFi throughout with an open-plan kitchen and living area, ideal for relaxing or entertaining. The expansive rooftop is the perfect spot to enjoy sundowners and unwind..

Figgito

Jungle meets ocean at Figgito - sandwiched between tropical green and the endless blue. Two glass walls open fully to the sea; vines cascade from rafters inside as monstera climb the pillars, blurring the line between in and out. A kilometre of pristine beach waits below at low tide, reached through a private tunnel. Shower by two among palms and watch bush babies feed at dusk. Shaky chic - raw, wonky, entirely functional. A place to truly luxuriate.

Eco Tower Watamu

This 4-storey glass tower is an iconic rustic Gaudiesque structure with a star bed created by the celebrated artist Nani Croze. Colorful & mosaic adorned, it’s wildly inspiring, totally in touch with nature with the susurrating ocean providing a meditative background soundscape. The Vera is a 1-bedroom apartment in the heart of central Malindi, directly opposite Bar Bar Eatery and right on the main highway, steps away from supermarkets, the casino and eateries. It is newly renovated, offering modern finishes and features a breezy balcony that enjoys the fresh ocean air just a short distance away.
