Escape to the rural Irish countryside and stay in a converted, 200 year old barn, with spectacular views of the countryside. There are two front terraces and a back terrace to choose from to gaze at the night sky. A large bedroom upstairs (king size bed) and a double sofa bed downstairs, each with a designated bathroom. You can walk to the local village (Durrow), 4km away. We are half an hour (by car) from the medieval city of Kilkenny, and one hour by car from Dublin, Cork and Limerick city.

It’s seasonal camping style (from March to November) overnight experience for adventurous people who are walking or cycling through our beautiful canal side area or just stopping by for few nights to discover County Kildare. We live in beautiful rural Ireland surrounded by lush countryside, historic castles and beautiful woodlands and walks. Our home is very modern that was designed for children and grown up living. It is an oasis of calmness surrounded by fields, sheep, hill walks and forests. Ideally located 1 hour from Dublin Airport and with easy access to the cities of Dublin and stunning medieval Kilkenny. We can sleep 8 very easily in our 4 double bedrooms and 3 bathrooms.
