The Pines Treehouse @ Treetops Hideouts

The Pines Treehouse is nestled underneath a huge oak tree sitting high above the running water of Sand Beck. Nature cocoons you and you can reach out and touch the trees, see wildlife all around you amongst the pines. With breathtaking views through the tress and across the valley you are completely private having no other accommodation on the site making this a truly unique and special experience. A great effort has gone into creating this space to allow you to simply relax and reset in nature.

Bundling up for a night of stargazing? Or, simply recharging your batteries (and your cars) after a day of adventures? Then Maple Cottage is your home away from home.

The Rookery

This 400 year old coach house was built around the turn of the 1600's. It has quirky uneven walls, beams made from sailing ships that travelled the world, and a pretty courtyard garden. There's no kitchen, but is a dining room with mini fridge, microwave kettle, crockery, cutlery and tea making things and a large container for you to leave your dishes out for me. *DOGS* Please keep dogs off the bed and furniture because I find the dog hairs just spread over everything in the washing machine.

A lovely purpose built annexe, with fitted kitchen to include washing machine,dishwasher,refridgerator,oven/hob and microwave.Lounge has TV with dvd,books and games,wi-fi,sofa-bed and French doors to garden with garden chairs/table and BBQ.The bedroom has a superking sized bed that can be unzipped and unlinked to make two singles if required and built-in wardrobes.Bathroom has shower over bath with basin and W.C.The property has underfloor heating and secure outside storage for bicycles etc.

We are a 5 minute drive to Alston (petrol, gift shops, pubs, pub food, home made gifts, spa/co-op, mini railway, bike hire, C2C, fishing, cycling). The Lake District, the Borders and the North East are just a drive away. The new build apartment sleeps 4 in 2 upstairs bedrooms (microwave, washer dryer, dishwasher, tv, DVD, wifi, parking, bike store). There’s a stunning view from every window including the shower room, there is no bath. We’re very rural the WiFi can be somewhat unreliable.

Located in the countryside, a short walk away from Alston's town centre which includes a pub, cafe and some shops. Perfect for a relaxing break in an area of outstanding natural beauty, lots of scenic walks from the doorstep. Private garden with a hot tub, a perfect way to view the stars on a clear night. Cosy up in front of the log burner in the spacious lounge.

This recently renovated barn is in a country setting a mile from Orton village in the Westmorland Dales bordering the Lake District National park. Approx 5 minutes from J38 &39 of M6, in easy reach of Orton village’s amenities of pub, cafe, shop, chocolate factory and local farm shop. Ideal as base a for exploring the local area or a stopover en-route to & from the north. Dogs welcome with enclosed garden and walks from the doorstep. A perfect base for experiencing the beauty of the surrounding countryside, from every direction Alston is approached over a broad, heather clad Pennine Landscape. Alston has a steep cobbled main street with a distinctive market cross, and many stone buildings dating from the 17th century.
