The town boasts a hotel, bars, cinema and day time cafes. We are centrally located between Belfast and Derry with Bus Services available from Maghera P&R. We are within 40 mins of the British Open Course in Royal Portrush. Close to towns like Portstewart, Bushmills etc We are also within twenty minutes of the Sperrin mountains range.

Millview Cottage

A beautifully presented 3 bedroom mid century semi detached cottage on the outskirts of the Moyola estate, centrally located in Castledawson in the heart of Mid-Ulster. The cottage consists of 3 bedrooms sleeping up to 5 people, 1 King bed, 1 Double bed and 1 single bedroom all furnished to a high standard. Bedding provided based on number of guests. A spacious living room with smart tv, fully functioning kitchen with all mod cons. Private patio with outdoor seating and table. Wifi throughout.

Craigmore Cottage

Craigmore Cottage is situated just outside the town of Maghera, at the foot of the Sperrin Mountains. This traditional-style cottage is perfect for relaxing and offers an ideal base from which to visit Northern Ireland, with Derry City, Belfast and the Northern Coast all reachable in 45 minutes. The local village (a 10-min walk away) hosts a hotel, pubs, leisure centre, cinema and shops. For nature lovers, the Carntogher Heritage Trail and Drumnaph Nature Reserve are within a 5-minute drive.

This iconic piece of contemporary architecture floats elegantly above the ruins of a cottage dating back to his great-great-uncle Barney in 1830. Spend the evening taking in the views whilst relaxing in front of the Danish Morso stove or enjoy the communal Gin Tin facilities with BBQ. The Hen house is at the rear of Bancran School our family home and in a quiet area.
