We welcome you to Matakana Escape. This modern 2-bedroom unit is the perfect place for your escape, to relax and unwind. It features stunning rural views and is bathed in afternoon sun. The large deck is perfect for BBQ’s and the outdoor area provides lots of space for kids to play. Matakana Village and Market are a flat 1km walk away. Private stand alone unit on our lifestyle property, seperate from house. The unit is well equipped with everything you need. Linen and towels are provided.

The stylish 3 bedroom and 2 bathroom residence is located towards the end of a cul de sac and features high ceilings, polished concrete floors and modern appliances. It’s warm in the winter and cool in the summer. Additionally, there’s a beautiful walk along three saltwater ponds, which link up to the Domain and estuary. Designed to maximise a restful stay, this property is in a fantastic location and is a residence like no other!

Ganeden Eco Retreat is set overlooking valleys of native bush and pasture. Ganeden relies solely on solar power generation and is earth friendly. This retreat offers an experience in comfort & sustainability. You will be 5 to 15 km from some of NZ's great expansive white sandy beaches, stunning walks, cafes & outdoor pursuits. Your accommodation is half of the main house. It is completely closed off for your privacy with private access & outdoor deck. BBQ by request. Not suitable for children.

Our place is part of a 25 year old 300 acre organic permaculture farm, which we were instrumental in setting up as a working farm and village style subdivision.

Peaceful and private, you can lounge on the bean bags on the deck, or watch the tui as you soak in the bath. Native bush runs down to an estuary outside your floor to ceiling windows. Sheep, dogs, ducks and birdlife share the property with you as well as the occassional peacock harem.
