Tapada da Raia has 35 acres of land, in the Natural Park of Serra de São Mamede (being the last Portuguese house, because it is bordered to Spain). For years it served as an anti-stress refuge for the family, who today decided to open the doors for those who want to spend relaxing days in the nature. Casa das Pedras is the starting point for paths that explore the history and charms of Northern Alentejo. Located in the Serra de São Mamede National Park, it is just a few minutes from Marvão and Castelo de Vide. Casa das Pedras is over 200 years old and was restored by us. It is a Quinta where you can relax under 100 olive trees, cork oaks and fruit trees. The modern studio accommodates a couple and a child with the comfort of country life. Let yourself be absorbed by this environment.

Situada no cimo de uma enorme escarpa, a vila de medieval de Marvão oferece a quem a visita uma paisagem deslumbrante. Entrando na vila pelas Portas de Ródão e olhando em frente à direita, o visitante depara com a Casa da Silveirinha. Enquadrada, de um lado, pelas fragas que levam ao Castelo e, do outro, pela imensidão da paisagem circundante, a Casa proporciona a quem nela repousar a sensação de recuar no tempo e tornar-se guardião da entrada na vila.

A Casa da Piedade é um refúgio acolhedor em total sintonia com a natureza, onde o conforto e a tranquilidade são prioridades. Localizada na Portagem, no sopé da serra de Marvão, está a 3 minutos a pé das piscinas locais e a 10 minutos de carro do castelo. Rodeada por restaurantes típicos e paisagens serenas, é o ponto de partida ideal para explorar a região, saborear a gastronomia local e descansar num ambiente calmo e autêntico.

A typical house of a historical village

The À-da-MiZé house is the realization of a dream. The name is inspired by our own names - Milita and Zé. Here, in the Alentejo, when you go to someone's house, you say "I'm going to my mother's house," hence the name. It was restored between 2020 and 2021, respecting its standards and identity, with the intention of living (one day later) in the center of a small Alentejan village with a close relationship with the neighbors.

Dieses kleine, fein ausgestattete Gästehaus wurde aus dem alten Backhaus liebevoll zu einem völlig unabhängigen kleinen Haus neu aufgebaut. Es verfügt über eine vollwertige Küche (mit kleiner Spülmaschine), Bad mit Dusche, Wohnzimmer mit Schlafcouch (2 Personen), Schlafzimmer und Terrasse, die von beiden Zimmern begehbar ist. Bei einem guten Glas Rotwein die traumhafte Aussicht einfach genießen und entspannen.

Our little stone cottage lies on a stream and has views of the beautiful hills and meadows full of olive and cork trees. In the garden you will find some fruit trees, herbs and flowers. Not far there is a nice waterfall to enjoy hot summer days. This is a peaceful place to relax. Here you can get immersed in nature's beauty, enjoy the sky full of stars and listen to the sheep's bells chiming.
