Although small our place is cozy, with a comfortable bed, wifi & Netflix, cooking facilities and utensils, with all the views of the Kaimai that one could want. A peaceful getaway - not completely shunned from society but, just enough to de-stress and relax. Feeling keen enough to brave the night? Beautiful 1 bedroom stand alone cottage that can sleep 4. A private oasis on a rural property surrounded by trees with views of rolling paddocks and farm animals. Full kitchen with all you need. Or a short drive to town will serve you with plenty of local eateries and takeaway options. One spacious bedroom with a queen bed and access to the deck. Country Retreat - 2km to Hobbiton!

Lie in bed & watch the sun rise over the Kaimai Range. Spectacular, uninterrupted rural views from this purpose built BnB. We provide a luxury King size bed with quality linen. There is a modern, spacious bathroom with a luxurious walk in shower. Centrally located, with less than an hours drive to Rotorua, Tauranga or Hamilton. Mystery Creek Events Centre (Feildays Site) 35 minutes. Waitomo Caves 1½ hours away. We are the closest Bed & Breakfast to Hobbiton which is just 2km up the road.

HK’s Nest

Centrally located, it’s a 500m walk to the centre of Matamata and all it has to offer. Tom Grant Drive and Centennial Drive nearby park-like walks shared by all. The beds are a queen bed in the bedroom and a double sofa bed in the lounge is available for use as well. Easily accessed via ramp, the space is private and spacious. A simple breakfast of toast, cereal and hot drinks is provided. A separate deck and fenced yard provides for further enjoyment or secure parking for trailers.

Hillside Cottage

Nestled between grassland and trees, this guest house is the perfect place to soak up New Zealand’s beautiful nature. Relax watching the birds and scenic hills or get hands on with the family pets. You can feed the alpacas or visit the chicken to collect some eggs. There is always a spare paddock for horsey people visiting the area and plenty of room to park a trailer or boat. We are located 10 min away from Hobbiton, Karapiro lake and 15 min from Cambridge town centre.

Tahi Totara

Our studio conversion offers contemporary open plan lodgings. An equipped kitchen unit, dining setting, lounge area including bedroom with king size bed that also splits into two singles if required. The bathroom offers double shower. A second separate bedroom offers two king single beds a second bathroom plus laundry. A continental breakfast is provided. The accommodation is a 5 minute walk from CBD and a short car drive to scenic points of interest in the district .

Aroha Apartment with your own private spa pool

A modern contemporary apartment tastefully furnished in the quaint town of Te Aroha. A quiet suburban neighbourhood, a short walk into Te Aroha township, kayak down the Piako River, walk/mountain bike Te Aroha Mountain, soak in the mineral pools... Private access with lockbox for key access Condiments, tea, coffee, milk, bread, cereal all provided A gentle walk along the river, a bike along the cycle trail, nice eateries. Check out the steampunk sculptures in town.

Neighbouring Hobbiton, and with beautiful views of the Kaimai Ranges, we have all you need for comfort away from home. Enjoy the toast, cereal, yoghurt, eggs, fruit and milk provided for your breakfast during your stay as well as complimentary tea and coffee. There is a fully equipped kitchen and laundry with washer and dryer for your use.

A Place in the Paddock

This properties entrance is on the Hauraki Cycle Trail, only 2.5 km from town. The cottage is surrounded by farm land. You will have exclusive use of this 3 bedroom country home which easily accommodates 7 people. An 11 minute drive to the sensational Wairere Falls bush walk . 17 minutes to Hobbiton Movie set . Has foam mattresses for groups up to 11 as well as a portacot. Please be aware of electric fences on driveway( but not near house surroundings )

"The Old Church" Boutique Accommodation

Our wonderful home is a converted Catholic Church, built in 1954 which we were lucky enough to buy in 1996. It offers a unique and special stay, full of character with a peaceful atmosphere. A great place to spend time relaxing or exploring the beautiful area we live in. To add to this, Café 77 is situated right across the road in what was once the old derelict Manawaru Dairy Factory. They are open from 8 am to 3 pm daily and we can highly recommend!

Rolling Views Vintage Retreat

Rolling Views Vintage Retreat, a rustic old style accommodation, is an 8-minute drive from Hobbiton and Matamata. This relaxing setting has amazing rural views,, sheep, ducks, birds, fish and turtles. A full breakfast with fruit is provided. Have a romantic evening under the stars in an outdoor Spa Pool at extra cost of $10/person for one time use or $15/person for unlimited use.
