Myrtle cottage is a modern, dedicated living space annexed to our 17th century thatched cottage. Pitney itself is a delightful small village situated above The Levels. There is a traditional pub serving real ales, local ciders and great home cooked food and the superb Pitney Farm shop offering organic meat and veg from the mixed farm & market garden. The area offers lovely walks directly from our garden up into the hills at High Ham or down on to The Levels and the river Carey.

Middlezoy is a small, rural village in the heart of Somerset. 6 miles from M5 and the ancient town of Langport, 12 miles from both the county town of Taunton and Clark’s Village in Street. Traditional village gastronomic public house. Renowned cycling routes, good for ramblers. RSPB Greylake 2 miles away.
