A cosy, two bedroom, centrally heated unit. Enjoy the large geothermal hot pool after a long day. A full size pool table, smart tv, wifi. A small kitchenette for light meals and snacks, plus a we private cottage garden to enjoy native birds and trees. Taupo is 50 minutes drive from our home. We are in easy reach of some of NZ's' most stunning hikes. An Easy 40 minutes to Whakapapa ski field and Tongariro Crossing, local river walks, supermarket and eateries 10 mins. Ski season is all go.

Cosy Cottage Retreat Motuoapa

Welcome to our little part of paradise, fully self contained cosy cottage, with off street parking, 5 minutes walk to the local marina and lake, stopping off for brekkie or lunch at the local cafe. For those fisherpeople you will be 10 to 20 minutes drive from world class trout/fly fishing spots. Turangi is 10 minutes drive south, with great cafes and restaurants, 40 minutes to Mt Ruapehu for fabulous skiing and the Sky Waka. Turangi is the hub for the adventure tourism activities.

"The Unit" is a Private self contained space away from the main house at the rear of the Garage. It is cosy with views of the countryside. Located 3 minutes up the hill from Taihape township. The Unit gives you all the comforts of home on your journey so you can relax and enjoy your stay. Taihape is a farming town and with the Main Highway going right through it's centre, plenty of choice for dining out. Taihape is commonly Warm summer and cold winter weather. We cater for both.

Off Grid Haven

This unique place has a style all its own, nestled amongst beautiful native bush. Geothermal Hot tub, fill it up at your leisure. Fresh geothermal spring water every use. Completely off grid solar, whisper quiet back up generator, so no worries on overcast days. 500m from the southern tip of Lake Taupo. Some of the bests views of the lake and the Tongariro delta. Cabin life in the country

2 cabins side by side with a forever changing view. Peace and quiet in the country to relax and unwind with family or friends. Each cabin is identical with a queen size bed, fridge, microwave and tv. There’s a spa pool between the 2 cabins. A bbq to cook your dinner on. The ablution block consists of a shower and toilet which is 10 metres away from the cabins . Attached is an outside sink to wash any dishes. There’s also a gym to use which is free to guests.

Off grid home in Taihape

Enjoy the spectacular views of the central Plateau and get away from it all in this newly built home. This little house uses ‘passive house’ standards to minimise energy consumption and maximise occupant comfort, making it one of the most comfortable places to be all year around! All amenities included: WiFi, phone booster, TV, microwave oven, induction cooktop, cooking utensils, coffee machine, washing machine, dryer. Guests will have access to the entire property.

Haven On Huia

This modern ground level, cosy & quiet apartment opens to a north facing Zen Garden soon to be completed by a local landscaper. The queen bed is noted as extremely comfortable with luxury cotton, wool & down linen with an electric blanket in winter. The sofa bed in the living space is available at an extra charge of $20 p.n. for linen for a second or third person. An additional fold up bed also available for $20 p.n.

Mangaweka Rural Refuge-beautiful location to rest

This renovated self contained unit is in the beautiful Kawhatau Valley, Mangaweka on a small sheep and beef farm. Five minutes off State Highway One, this accommodation is only two kms up the road from the famous Rangitikei river and the popular Awastone licenced cafe (open Nov-March). Handy place to stay if fishing, rafting, cycling or just wanting a quiet country retreat or stopover.

Tāwhiri Cottage, Waiouru

Comfortable, fully-furnished, friendly cottage; close to the Waiouru Military Camp and the National Army Museum. An ideal base for snow sports on Ruapehu; your choice of Tukino or Turoa, both a short drive away. We are at the southern gateway to the Rangipo Desert, Kaimanawa Forest Park, Tongariro National Park - and much else besides. Spectacular mountain views.
