The perfect place to be in the woods, but not isolated. Cook your meals in the nearby cookhouse (40’ away, unheated) on a camp stove or over an open campfire. A heated bathroom/shower is 20’ away. We provide you with linens, cookware, plus help you plan your trip. Property includes miles of hiking trails and beautiful places to explore!

Tucked away in the rugged Land O’ Lakes region of Eastern Ontario, the waterfront Salmon River Wilderness Camp is a private, 300-acre wilderness, bordering on the pristine Salmon River as well as Cade Lake. This is a romantic getaway for two on the banks of the Tay, 10 minutes West of Perth, Ontario. Secluded and quiet with private swimming access to the river where it slows and flows over a large flat rock bed.
