Lovely 200 year old fully modernised cottage with fully fitted modern kitchen for guests to use. We provide a food cupboard with tea, coffee and cereal etc. We leave bread and milk , and soft drinks. If you require anything else, please let us know . Convenient downstairs toilet and an ensuite upstairs . Free wifi. Mast House, Portaferry

Mast House is located 20 seconds from the shore. It’s eclectically furnished with big, bright rooms and a conservatory, patio & garden. There’s central heating, a wood burner and a range of kitchen appliances inc coffee machine. The main bedroom has an en-suite bathroom with roll top bath. The shower is off the kitchen. Note the property has stone steps at the front door/inside, a cast iron spiral staircase open at the top and no TV. We allow dogs subject to confirmation and a cleaning charge.

Bird Island Bothy

Wake with the rising sun, shrill calls of the wading birds, and waves breaking on the shore only meters away. The wild shore and vegetation provide a great habitat for birds, mammals, insects and spiders typical of the Irish coast. Wading birds can be seen feeding along the undisturbed shore. Bird Island Bothy has the feel of a sailing ship's cabin with chunky wooden beams, mock four-poster bed and plush velvet curtains. A great base from which to explore the Ards Peninsula.
