Foxglove Lodge

We welcome you to our peaceful one-bedroom cabin. Attached to the back of our home but completely self-contained, the lodge has its own patio and parking area and access to our gardens . Please note that a car is essential to get around and make the most of your stay. The cabin is warm and cosy with a small kitchen area for preparing simple meals , making it a perfect getaway for couples or solo travellers looking to unwind in nature, this is the perfect spot. Lough Aisling chalet

You are welcome to Lough Aisling and our chalet, situated on the lake’s edge. Enjoy many lake views and see otters, swans, ducks, little grebes and perhaps a fleeting glimpse of a kingfisher. Lough Aisling is an ideal location for nature photography and an artist’s paradise. Along 5km of walkways, you are free to explore the biodiversity of lakes, woodland, wild meadow, shrubbery, bogland and esker. There are lots of popular local attractions close by to enjoy in Ireland’s hidden heartlands.

Situated in the grounds of the owner’s working farm, who are on hand to offer advice on the local area, the cottages are in an excellent central location on the Tipperary/Offaly border, almost equidistant from the picturesque town of Birr, 7½km, and one of the oldest towns in Ireland, Roscrea, 6km, and a 2km drive from Gloster house and wedding venue.

Your cabin features a hot shower, coffee machine, filtered water, kettle, gas heater, electric blanket, and shared full kitchen access. Unwind in our sauna or hot tub for a small fee. Feel free to interact with our farm animals( horse , alpaca, sheep , goats) A direct bus to the city center is just 350m away. Not suitable for infants or the infirm.

Located 4 kms from Hacketstown own transport would be recommended as we are not near any public transport . Its very quiet location is ideal for a complete break away from the hustle and bustle. Great views of mountains surrounds the cabin and u can relax on the veranda out front and enjoy the fresh air with ample parking on site
