Laburnum Cottage is a modernised annexe - see photos. Situated just outside Kington (at the bottom of a steep lane below Kington Golf Course) in the heart of walking country. We are close to Welsh border towns too. For walking - historic Offa’s Dyke is a few fields away. Penrhos Gin and British Cassis tours are near. Weobley and Brilley (where the film Hamnet was filmed) and Hay-on-Wye (book festival) are all a 20-minute drive away. Train stations are: Leominster or Hereford. Walkers welcome.

We have numerous walks on our doorstep, a 3 minute stroll to the River Severn and are a stone's throw from Llandinam Gravels Nature Reserve. We are also approximately 1 mile away from Plas Dinam Country House. It has a fully equipped kitchen, king size bed and large comfortable chairs - perfect for a short break or longer holiday. This self-contained studio is the perfect location for cycling, canoeing, gliding, horse riding, fishing, wild swimming, and exploring the Black Mountains, Brecon Beacons and Wye Valley. A footpath at the door, with just a 5 min walk to the river and approx. 1 mile to the Offa's Dyke path which takes you to Hay Bluff. Very pleasant footpath/ bike route to the town . Bike storage on request, CCTV cameras on premises and free car park space provided.

The Green Room is attached to our family home, with a comfortable double bed, adjoining wetroom and kitchenette, in a convenient town location, easy access to railway and bus links, and off-road parking. With FTTP internet access, television with a full Sky package (including Sports and Cinema), Blu-ray player with discs and your own key and separate door you can come and go as you please. Well behaved pets are welcome.
