Our camp is off road, off grid, on the edge of the BWCA. 2 cabins, sauna, outdoor kitchen pavilion, fire pit, beach and dock on Fall Lake near Ely. 20 minutes to town, 3 million acres of wilderness out the door. Fish, canoe, swim, explore woods and lakes. Spend your time here or use as basecamp for backcountry trips. See deer, eagles, loons, moose, bear, or hear a wolf howl in the distance. LED lanterns, propane cookstoves and refrigeration, get water from lake, or nearby well. Life on the edge.

Mullein Cabin w/ Lake Access @Wild Woods Hideaway

This cozylog cabin has a cathedral ceiling with a sleeping loft, indoor kitchenette, outdoor porch and picnic area with fire-pit. It is a 5 minute walk down to the lake and the rental includes access to a shared dock, wood-fired sauna and use of canoes, kayaks & SUPs. Guests provide pillows, season appropriate bedding & towels. On 15 acres of mixed forest along Mink Bay, this cabin is part of a eco-resort that is a wilderness getaway yet is 15 minutes from the shops and restaurants of Kenora.

Suite Retreat

The Suite Retreat is off the Trans-Canada highway 17. This quaint suite is what you need to rest your head, regroup, and feel at home while on your travels. If Dryden is your destination, it offers everything you need in a home for a comfortable short to mid-term stay. This suite is on the upper level in the apartment building with plenty of natural lighting. There is a designated parking spot, security cameras, and external lights to ensure safety. Coin operated washer and dryers available.

Wolf Cabin at Wilderness Wind

We are asking our guests to bring their own sheets and pillow cases. Thank you for your understanding. Wolf Cabin is Wilderness Wind's smallest and most secluded cabin on the shore of Lake Armstrong. This adorable one bedroom cabin with kitchenette and kitchen table is at the end of the road and is quiet and private but has access to all the amenities of the Wilderness Wind resort.

Great walleye fishing in the bay directly in front of the cabin. Fishing boat and kayak on site. The cabin is an open concept format. The lower bedrooms require descending 2 steps. The bedrooms are separated by curtains.
