The bright dining area is just off the kitchen and offers ample space for sociable gatherings in style. The living room is cozy and bright, perfect after a day exploring the island. Large panoramic windows provide plenty of natural light and offer a magnificent view of the Atlantic Ocean. A comfortable living area with a large sofa, armchairs and coffee tables forms the heart of the room. The stylish furnishings combine modern elegance with a cozy atmosphere. For those who also want to work during their stay, a quiet and comfortable workspace is available – ideal for productive hours in the home office. Enjoy a luxurious vacation with your own private outdoor swimming pool of approximately 31 m², measuring around 8 meters in length and 4 meters in width. The pool features a shallow area of about 80 cm and a maximum depth of approximately 1.60 m, making it suitable for both adults and children. The pool is surrounded by a spacious sun terrace with comfortable sun loungers and an elegant lounge area, perfect for relaxing hours in the open air, convivial evenings or a sundowner with a fantastic view. For entertainment, the villa also features a PlayStation 5 with two controllers and a selection of games. The outdoor area invites you to linger with a lovingly designed barbecue area. Whether it’s a cozy barbecue with the family or a convivial evening with friends, every meal here becomes an open-air experience with a view of the Atlantic. The pool can be heated so that you can use it at any time of the year (extra cost). Towels for the bathroom and pool are provided for all guests. The villa has a modern, well-equipped utility room that offers you the comfort you are accustomed to during your stay. A high-quality washing machine and a powerful dryer are available here, ideal for longer stays, family vacations or active days. This house was first built in 1932 and since then it has been know as "Casa do Vinho Velho", "The Old Wine House". My great-grand mother used to tell stories about the old man "Vinho Velho" and his passion for his wine and agriculture. The house has been updated but we have kept old features, like an old brick oven in the kitchen and 3 stone rocks for vine hanging in the living room!
