Guided by "Gourmet Ghosts" author James T. Bartlett, step into downtown's spookiest locations and explore the architecture, crimes - and ghost stories - of LA's dark and deadly history. We start at the Biltmore Hotel, where the "Black Dahlia" was last seen alive, where ghosts haunt the ballrooms, and where a classic ghost movie was filmed. We then walk a block to Oviatt's Deadly Dream, the palace of Fashionista and designer James Oviatt - and building he still haunts after it killed him. Next we'll stop outside the Cecil Hotel. Two serial killers stayed here, and we will revisit Elisa Lam - the girl found dead on the roof water tank - and hear about the hotel's place at the center of "Suicide Triangle." Back on Spring Street, we will visit the building that now houses the Last Bookstore, and conjure up their resident ghost by going behind-the-scenes to where he died. Opposite is the Alexandria Hotel and its "Ghost Wing", which has been sealed off from the world for over 85 years, and we'll find out why the LAPD were searching for a "Ghost Woman" who had murdered a guest. Also we visit the unique skylit Bradbury Building. Known for appearing in "Blade Runner" and "The Artist", this 132 year-old legend was born came from a ghostly encounter through time. Our electric bike tour will take you through the best bike routes, historical highlights, and great viewpoints of Santa Barbara! Our tour has the potential to show most if not all of Santa Barbara’s need-to-see spots. Our Ebike tour will take you to hot spots in town as well as areas a little more behind the scenes! Don’t forget your phone/camera as there will be plenty of photo opportunities. Our fun and informative bike tour is available every day of the week! Other things to note: The Ebikes have pedal-assist technology so you will be pedaling but the motors do most of the work. Helmets are required if your'e <18 yrs and recommended but not required if you're >18 yrs. This tour is only able to operate with a minimum of 2 tour-goers. If you're a solo traveler and the only one signed up for the tour we'll be in touch with alternate options that we have available. This is a group tour that leaves daily at 2pm. Learn to Fly an airplane Above LA

Prior to boarding, pose like a seasoned pro for a photo shoot with the airplane. Once you’re on board, the pilot will give you an overview of the instruments and controls. After getting clearance from the tower, you’ll taxi to the runway for takeoff. Once at cruising altitude, you’ll learn basic flying skills in the training area over the Simi Valley. Then, grab hold of the controls and feel free to move about the skies, exploring LA by air. Finally, in preparation for landing, you’ll come back down to earth at Van Nuys Airport. Other things to note IMPORTANT : This experience is currently only offered as a private experience. The guest has to book both spots on the experience and will be allowed to bring an additional guest to sit in the back seat. Only one guest will be in the front seat. Approximate flight time is 40 mins Expect a cancellation if there is bad weather. Only two passengers are allowed per ride to create a guest-focused experience.

We'll set sail from the Santa Cruz Harbor aboard the classic 43' Sailing Vessel Nomad, and head out into the beautiful Monterey Bay in search of good wind and wildlife. Tucking in behind Santa Cruz Point and Capitola, then venturing out as prudent, we'll be in search of gray and humpback whales and great white sharks. Experiencing sea otters, harbor seals, sea lions, and myriad sea birds are virtually guaranteed. Nearing the end of the sail we'll take leisurely tacks back to the harbor. At this point you are in an ideal location to take a walk on the beach or dine at an excellent restaurant. Please note: we have a 2 ticket minimum for our public sails.
