However it is not the interior that is the major boast. The cottage has the beach for its back garden. Stunning views across the English Channel. Sandgate is a sought after location and there are a number of coffee shops and restaurants within minutes of the front door. Ideal for a relaxing or very active stay- your choice!

Located 5 minutes walk away from the White Cliffs of Dover, the granary is a converted timber frame building set in the garden of a 16th century Kentish farmhouse and 1 km away from the beautiful seaside village of St Margaret's-at-Cliffe. Featuring exposed beams, wattle and daub walls and many original features including staddlestones and a handcrafted spiral staircase leading to a mezzanine sleeping area, the granary has a lovely feel and is very light, warm and cosy.

The Den

Great ground floor studio in the West End of Folkestone. A couple of minutes walk to "The Leas" and a serious flight of steps to the beach. "The Den" has everything you need for a private getaway. Unfortunately the council have now restricted on road parking to residents permits only 😩, and I’m unable to get visitors parking permits as I’m not a resident there.
