On the findge of the Wasdale valley on the western side of the lake district. Ideal for a cozy romantic get away or base for exploring the amazing area. The yurt DOESN'T have any electricity in but it does have a lovely little wood burning stove and you have access to a mini kitchen in the utility room a short distance away . Upstairs there are views of the sea, St Bees Head and the Isle of Man too on a clear day. The cottage was built in 1870 and we have furnished it in keeping with its period but the kitchen and bathroom have modern fittings. There is a garden area available to sit outside in summer. A wood-burning stove can be lit for cosy evenings on chillier days.
