Little White Cottage beside a Sandy Beach

As featured in series 10 of BBC's 'Shetland', Spindrift is deal for those who enjoy beaches, walks, birdwatching and dramatic cliffs. 'Spindrift' is a traditional white 2-bedroom cottage situated almost on a sheltered sandy beach. Levenwick is conveniently located on the South Mainland of Shetland, half way between Lerwick and Sumburgh Airport and close to many attractions. It has a regular bus service. From Spindrift you can stroll to the beach, launch boats from the sand and take cliff walks.

This traditional cottage has been recently renovated to provide a modern, quirky and cosy home away from home. A scenic, relaxing setting to get away from it all and a great base for exploring Shetland. With magnificent sea views, Driftwood provides beautiful coastal walks from your doorstep. During the summer months, your nearest neighbours are Shetland ponies who may peer over the fence to say hello. There's plenty of outdoor space to enjoy watching local wildlife along the shoreline.

We have 3 self catering in-house open plan adult only apartments; Quinni Geo being our most spacious and private, sits upstairs with private balcony, summer BBQ & double patio doors. From within the views enjoyed are over the Southpund cliffs of Quinni Geo and to the south part of the area. The balcony enjoys full panoramic views with the afternoon sun and stunning sunset colours gracing the sea and skyline. Our gorgeous local beach is minutes away, 25mins to Lerwick, 40mins to the North.

East-Gate Selfcatering

East-Gate was built new in 2018 the property is located in central Shetland and beautifully finished. Outside the patio door takes you onto a decked area which you can sit out on for your morning cuppa or evening glass of wine or to simply take in the scenery . It has the latest air to air heating and air con. We are very lucky to have a hot spot for otter sighting on our door step just a short walk down the field. The sea views and coastal walks makes this an ideal tranquil location.
