Wild strawberry Shepard’s Hut with Hot Tub

Beautiful shepherds hut powered by solar for an off grid experience along the Wild Atlantic Way situated on Connemara farm land located 20 minutes from Galway city and 10 minutes from Oughterard and Lough Corrib. Sleeps 3 with a double bed and a single bed. Kitchenette with running water and gas hob, separate fire pit/BBQ area and outhouse with toilet, sink and heated shower. There is a small wood burning stove in the Shepherds hut with kindling provided. Towels and bedding are also provided.

The Castle rests on about half an acre of land with Ballindooley Lake lying to the south west. It is surrounded by low walls and hedges: with a gated entrance controlled by an electronic security system. Our Cabin is unique and has a style on its own. It provides an open planned living room and a fully equipped kitchen area with a washing machine. It is heated through 2 electric heaters of 1200W each. The bathroom also is stylish with an electric towel heater (with a fan) and a rain shower. Bedroom one has a double bed with storage and a chest of drawers. Bedroom 2 has a double bed with storage and a wardrobe.
