Come and relax in our beautiful kingsize bedroom with own bathroom in a self contained Annex to our Somerset home near the Shapwick Moor Nature Reserve. Enjoy a delicious breakfast of warm croissants, muesli, yoghurt, fresh fruit, Orange Juice & toast (at a time if your choice between 8 - 1030 am), along with a Nespresso coffee machine, kettle, toaster, fridge and microwave. Catcott has 2 friendly local pubs (although King William is currently shut) who do great food within walking distance.

Self-contained annexe

Immaculate self contained annexe in a pretty village just outside of Bridgwater. Approximately 10 mins from M5 junction 23 a perfect stop to spend a night or more exploring nearby surroundings, or attending a wedding nearby, or to break up a long journey. Quantock Hills are a 10min drive. Bridgwater train station 20 to 30 mins walk. Walking distance to the town centre, supermarkets and public transport. Adults only. Single or couple, no children, No pets , ( Service animals allowed).

The Snug at Mill Barn - rural retreat

Tucked away in a peaceful location, this new open plan conversion was finished in September 2019. Completed to a high standard, this cosy space provides an idyllic hideaway. Stockland and Steart Marshes can be accessed immediately opposite the Snug and the coast is five minutes drive away. Ideal for country walks, cycling and bird watching. A selection of walks to explore are provided by the owners. Ample parking and use of owners tranquil garden for relaxation. Perfect escape for couples.

The Old Stables

Hidden away in a unique rural setting on the Somerset Levels.  Light, airy and cosy with log burner. Looking out of the glass frontage you will find our alpacas, goats, ponies and various poultry . Right on the edge of nature reserves this is perfect for cyclists and bird watchers. In the winter months you can witness the famous murmurations. Close to Clarks Factory Shopping Village with historic Glastonbury and Wells a short drive away. 100yards from country pub. Close to junction 23 on M5

Sweet Little Barn Annex

A private and rural location in the pretty village of Wedmore makes this the perfect location to explore the beautiful Somerset countryside and historic towns and villages in the area. Wedmore is situated on the edge of the Mendip Hills and Somerset Levels, and is close to three incredible nature reserves as well as Cheddar Gorge, Wells and Glastonbury. This is a great place for bird watchers and wildlife lovers, with excellent opportunities for walking and cycling right from the front door!

Doris our shepherds hut

Doris our shepherd's hut is nestled in our paddock and meadow on the Somerset levels and has lovely views over neighbouring fields. It is close but not too close to our other hut Daphne and our annexe room Huberts. We are keen to encourage flora and fauna and manage the paddock accordingly. We are situated on the outskirts of a small village and the edge of the Somerset levels. We are ideally situated for sightseeing around Somerset. Daphne our other hut is also in the paddock.

A stone built character cottage nestled between the Mendip and Polden Hills, in the heart of the magical Avalon Marshes. Perfect location for exploring on foot or bicycle the stunning local flora and fauna. The renowned Ham Wall, Westhay Moor and Shapwick Heath Nature Reserves, home to the 'Big 3' are within 3 miles. Easy access to Cheddar Gorge with its staggering caves, Glastonbury Tor and Abbey rich in myth and legend and Wells with its magnificent Cathedral and Bishops Palace.

The Potting Shed - cosy country cottage

The Potting Shed is part of the original Gardners Buildings of a large country house. Beautifully updated to provide a truly snug and romantic place to stay. A log burner is the focal point of the lounge/living area as well as exposed wooden beams and stonework. Wifi, Smart TV and all you will need for a memorable get away.
