Enjoy staying in this well located one bedroom upside down house on the edge of the village of Lympstone. Walking distance to village pubs, shop, train station, estuary and cycle path. Downstairs there is a light airy bedroom with king size bed, a large en-suite shower room and access via patio doors to your own private garden and decked area. Upstairs is an open plan kitchen, dining and sitting room with 2 velux windows and door to the outside staircase. Parking in front of property.

Completely renovated with gorgeous south westerly views over National Trust fields and the River Exe. Solar system covers most of your energy consumption. 100 metres from the famous Exe Estuary Trail, a short drive to the beach (or cycle!), or a 30 minute traffic free walk to the village of Lympstone with its pubs and eateries. Teignmouth boasts 2 beaches (a sea beach and a river beach) and is a short ferry ride to Shaldon and it's pretty town and beaches.

The Shippon is a meticulously converted cow barn with heated, polished concrete floors, gently curving deep green walls, hand-built kitchen, warmly lit reading nooks, & natural materials. Woollen blankets, feather sofa, antique Scandinavian log burner, king-size bed with French linen & down, waterfall shower, & the softest towels. Our sleepy Devon hamlet is only lit by stars at night. You might just sleep better than you have in years.

Close to Torbay, and Dartmoor National Park, by car 15 minutes to Torquay, 20 minutes to Exeter and 30 minutes to Dartmouth. 2 hours 30 minutes to London by train. Coombe Cellars bar and restaurant is 250m along the foreshore. Templer way footpath passes the front of the property. (Haytor to Teignmouth)

Upstairs there are 2 double bedrooms and a family bathroom. The property is in a ideal location, only 3 mins walk to the town centre, 10 mins walk to the sea front, 7 mins walk to Teignmouth Train Station, 15 mins walk to Shaldon. We are Dog friendly but pets cannot be left unattended in the property.
