Mountain Cottage - indoor hot tub

The Cottage is located in the bottom of fjord Ólafsfjörður, in the mountains. It has two bedrooms, a living room and a private geothermal hot tub in a garden-in-house area, that can be opened up to the terrace. The cottage is well equipped (fully equipped kitchen & washing machine) has WIFI for guests to use, and quality mattresses made up with comfortable linen, soft towels and warm blankets. The area is extremely peaceful. In the backyard is a heated football court and a playground for kids.

Hegranes guesthouse on a farm

We would like to welcome you to come and stay in our lovely guesthouse at our farm in the heart of Skagafjordur. Here you can relax and enjoy your evening in our hot tub, take a walk to visit our calm and gentle horses, we also own a beautiful lake and we are "forest farmers" i.e. we plant 10.000 trees each year and we can highly recommend a stroll through our young forest to the lake. There will be sheep, chicken, cats and dogs around and next to the house there is a beautiful old church:)

A quiet place with a stunning view for small group

The house is located on a small farm in north Iceland. Guests have a lot of privacy in the house as it stands alone. You might see our horses and even sheep close to the house. Our dog and cat are friendly and might pay you a visit. You can go for short walks among horses, sheep and birds in a varied landscape. During the winter, there is a unique experience to sit in the hot tub and watch the northern lights. The house is a good place for home office due to high speed wi-fi and facilities.

Wooden cottage, perfect for a stay in a peaceful environment. Suits for couples and families with children. Kitchen and private facilities. The cottage has a bunkbed with double bed on the lower level and single on the upper level. A sofa sleeps 2 persons. A set of linen and towels is included in the price. Horseback riding available on the farm. THE OLD STABLE - a turf house exhibition on the farm, free access for our guests. Beautiful location, no light pollution, 20 km from road #1.

Icelandhorsetours - Helluland

Our guesthouse is new build in 2016. There are three privat rooms and a shared kitchen and a shared bathroom, also there is the possibility to be together. At our farm we offer you to take a look at our animals and also we offer horse riding tours. Just 9km from our farm is the city Sauðárkrókur where you can do nice things and go for example to have dinner. Also there a lot of other possibilities what you can do in our area like visiting a natural hot pot or a turf house as much more :)

Cottage in a beautiful valley

This nice cottage is situated in the middle of a beautiful valley, with no neighbors disturbing you. You have a sea view to the north. A stream with waterfalls and rapids down through the valley. The hut is also a good base for skitouring and moutain hiking (many trails in the area) and horse riding. We offer horse riding for additonal fee. We can ride a calm tour with beginners or a bit faster with more experienced riders. Horse riding is mostly available from May till September.

Charming place to go horseback riding

Farm stay with amazing opportunity for horse riding, 360 views of mountains, and hiking trails nearby. Access to guest house door is around the side of the house by the bushes, and around the corner. You are welcome to visit our paddock, pastures and stables to look at the horses and sheep; Feel free to give them hay/bread or just pet them. 1. Large bedroom with queen size bed + twin bed. 2. Hallfridarstadir Farmhouse Akureyri region

Hi. We have a vacation cottage for rent at a farm near Akureyri. Distance to Akureyri is 20min driving. The cottage is located on our farmland and we live in the farmhouse about 800m away up the hill. We do not farm livestock but there might be the occasional sheep grazing the fields. Guests are welcome to pick mushroom on the land and august is prime blueberry season and you can pick blueberries right outside the cottage.

Double bed in living room, mattresses on a loft, kitchen, small bathroom with shower, free Wifi. Access to a hot tub and sauna, shared with guests of the cottages.

Frostastaðir - A new loft with spectacular view

We have just recently reconstructed the attic in our house into studio apartments. The space has a new bed and a sofa that can be changed into a cozy bed for 1 if you need. The kitchen has everything you need for cooking and the view is extraordinary!
