Elgol self catering, Isle of Skye

Comfortable, self contained, private accommodation, attached to a family home in the popular village of Elgol. View of mountains and sea from bedroom. Great base from which to explore Loch Coruisk, the Cuillins or Small Isles via boat trips. Good for birdwatching, wildlife or the Skye trail. Elgol harbour is a short walk down the hill. There is a kitchenette with fridge freezer, hotplate,microwave, toaster and kettle (no oven) in the accommodation. T.V only has Net-flix and DVDs, wi-fi is good.

The stove provides a glorious heat, although the cottage also has full electric heating. There are many local walks/climbs and also the famous boat-trips into Coruisk and the Cuillin hills.

The Elgol Bistro sells takeaway food, and is a licensed restaurant. Supermarkets, petrol, diesel and numerous restaurants are in nearby Broadford (15 miles)

There is a private balcony with outdoor seating and lights. Please note that The Ridge Pod is situated on a working croft. Unfortunately no dogs are allowed.
