We have curated a collection of vintage pieces that evoke Kiwi holidays of yesteryear and added modern luxuries. The Lakehouse is self-contained and private, perfect for a relaxing getaway.

Gateway to The Forgotten World Highway-one of the most scenic and historic routes in the area. The Paddock

This new build rural property is located 18km from Wanganui and 10km from Kai Iwi Beach giving you the best of both worlds; near enough to town also tucked away enough to enjoy and relax in the serenity of the country side. The Paddock has one bedroom with a queen size bed and sofa bed, plenty of room for your luggage, tastefully decorated in a french country cottage style with large stacker doors that take in the view, ready to welcome in the mornings with a coffee from the coffee bar.

* No cleaning fees :) * Relax and unwind on our small peaceful farm guest sleep out. One bedroom one bathroom sleep out with kitchenette. One king size bed and a pull out sofa bed. Would suggest this for children only for the limited room. Can provide a travel cot for infants if organised in advance. 10 mins drive away from Kai Iwi beach and a 20-25mins drive to Whanganui. We are situated on the main highway but far enough to not hear traffic. Great location for kids to run around.

Self contained studio- Lavender Farm

Sleeps 4 (2 adults, 2 kids) with separate toilet/shower, kitchenette (has everything you need to cook a meal), and garden views. Wander lavender fields, explore truffle oaks, or relax by the fire pit. Easy self check-in makes it ideal for couples, families, or solo explorers.

Ōkato Retro Studio, Taranaki

Cosy self-contained studio, located on Surf Highway 45, the main route through Ōkato village, one of Taranaki’s most historic and creative areas. Only 20 minutes from New Plymouth but far enough to enjoy village life. Explore the mountain or coastal scenic areas with this studio as your base. Fun and stylish this unique space is perfect for those looking to stay somewhere a bit different. Pets allowed - 2 max. Please book your pets in when booking - there is a $30 pet fee.

Town and Country Guest Suite

Newly renovated Private Studio (approx. 18 sqm plus deck) with comfy bed, kitchenette, with microwave, fridge, toaster, kettle etc, ensuite bathroom and private covered deck. Separate from main dwelling, and off road parking right outside your door. Ideal for a single or a couple. Peaceful, with a lovely rural outlook from deck but just over a km to Stratford’s Main Street. We usually only have it available on week nights but let us know if you need a longer stay.

Separate from the main house (across the driveway), you will have privacy but we are nearby if you need anything. Our guests are welcome to come and go as they please with minimal contact from us, including self-check-in, however we are always available and quick to respond to any queries or concerns.
