Cabin is partially OFF GRID in winter months (Nov -May) No running water/shower/indoor bathroom at this time. Water is provided with water dispenser/maintained outhouse. Wifi & electricity all yr round. Sauna & jacuzzi tub available yr round. Pet friendly /$80 pet fee Cabin heated by wood stove in the winter months and supplemented with a mini split heater. Firewood/kindling provided. Fall/winter 2025 there are residential homes being built on the street that may cause extra noise outside

Cozy Loft at Carrick Creek Farmstead

Carrick Creek Farmstead is a sanctuary in the corner of Southeast Bruce County in Ontario. The Farmstead offers you 170 acres of rolling hills, a woodlot and walking trails. The Loft is a suite above our garage. A king bed and pull out sofa bed allow accommodation for 4 adults. The loft has kitchen facilities, shower, television, and air conditioning for the summer. Enjoy a meal on the nearby patio. If you would like to enjoy some prepared food from the Carrick Creek kitchen, just ask.

Nestled on a beautiful hobby farm, the cabin is a short 3km bike ride or drive to the beautiful shores of Lake Huron and the town of Port Elgin with it's unique shops and eateries. The queen size bed is on the main floor and the loft provides another sleeping space or storage.

Conveniently located to the historic sites, waterfalls, the Bruce trail, rail trails for hiking and snowmobiling. Short 20 minute drive to Owen Sound. Sauble Beach 40 minutes. Tobermory drive 1 hr 1/2. Markdale 20 minutes. Enjoy the sites surrounding or a peaceful night by the campfire with campfire wood provided.

Southampton Beach House is ideally located to take advantage of everything the area has to offer. Blocks to the beach, one block to High St (Southampton's Main St) and all of the great shops and restaurants. I purchased this 100+ year old house in Southampton in February 2021.
