Gum Tree Studio - The perfect country retreat!

With amazing views and the Taste Tasman cycle trail at the end of the road this is the perfect retreat to get away from it all. We're lucky to be surrounded by farmland, countryside, mountains, sea, National Parks, fresh air and birdsong. Just a short 10 minute drive from the popular village of Mapua and 10 minutes from Motueka this artistic, modern, roomy and stylish studio is a perfect getaway. The Studio is located at the rear of our home property, down a private drive, with ample parking.

Aunty Bill's Orchard Cottage

Located in the heart of Tasman on our organic orchard, and home to our family plus 5 sheep, 6 chickens and 10 pekin ducks. Wake up in the tranquil garden setting which is alive with birdsong, and overlooking the Moutere Inlet. Soak up the seaside & orchard vibes and enjoy a short walk to Kina Beach. An ideal place to base yourself to explore the beautiful Tasman region - vineyards, beaches, rivers, artisans, Mapua, Abel Tasman National Park & more. The Great Taste Trail passes close by.

Idyllic Moutere Mountain View Studio

A sunny country cottage and former art studio, is set in our organic garden with abundant bird live and view of the mountains. Lovingly renovated it's fully self contained with a beautiful deck where you can enjoy colourful sunsets and a wonderful country night sky. We are 8 minutes drive away from Motueka and one of the regions most popular cafes and 1 km down the road you can join up with the Great Taste Bike Trail. We are central to the national parks, beaches and many more adventures

Harakeke Hill, near Motueka

Modern off-grid accommodation. Our power comes from panels powered by the sun. We have a back-up generator which runs if the batteries have had their power used. Wi-fi + the internet are easily accessible. We have solar heated hot water and we run all the usual household appliances. Two bedrooms: each with a king bed which can be split into two singles. *Please state which bed arrangement you will be needing* EV or PLUG IN HYBRIDS: it is not possible to charge these vehicles overnight.

Karaka Studio on Manuka Island Nelson/Tasman

Karaka studio is on the very edge of the Waimea Inlet with water twenty metres from your front door. Lie in bed and watch the tide come in. We are a private estuary island (Manuka Island) but we have drive on access at all times, 25 minutes to Nelson and Motueka. Rabbit Island beach(4km) and Taste Nelson Cycle Trail is a km from our gate. We are central to vineyards, cafes, 3/4 hour to Abel Tasman National park. We have amazing sea, rural , and mountain views. Total privacy assured.

Tinyhouse Modern Retreat "The Apple"

Welcome to "The Apple", our Tinyhouse on wheels. Situated outside of the delightful township of Motueka we have built this tiny retreat and are super excited to be able to offer this unique accommodation experience to others. Lie in bed and watch the stars or enjoy the view out across the Tasman bay. Staying in a tinyhouse is an experience. Modern, bright and comfortable "the Apple" is a perfect escape, a relaxing weekend getaway with the beautiful Tasman region at your doorstep.

The woodfire, there is something about a fire that warms your body and your soul, a heat pump, too. Beautiful native timber floors. Quality linen, 100% organic cotton sheets. The House: on a peninsular, close to the wharf, this haven is close to restaurants, cafes, galleries, fish and chips too. Central to Abel Tasman National Park cycle trails, wineries, art galleries.

Applegirth - Peaceful Retreat near Mapua

A relaxing space to retreat to after a day of exploring, Applegirth offers an open plan kitchen, dining and lounge area; a separate bedroom with Single bed; a mezzanine level with Queen sized bed and a bathroom with shower over bath, and washer. A Sofa Bed in the lounge can also be utilised upon request. In the lounge is a music station , and selection of games. Outside on the verandah is a covered BBQ and seating area where you can relax and listen to the birdsong.

Tranquility at its best, our super colourful studio sits next to our cottage with a fence providing privacy and faces a peaceful reserve leading down to the beach , swimming is tide dependent .Spectacular views of Tasman Bay and walking distance to the saltwater baths, the mariner coffee cart and Toad hall which won NZ cafe of the year 2024 .A five-minute drive to the Motueka township and a 20-minute drive to The beginning of The Abel Tasman National Park

Relax and enjoy this calm, stylish open plan apartment, part of a unique mud brick house. Spend the day walking around the property. Visit the animals, kayak on the dam, lunch by the pond and watch the magnificent sunsets over the neighbouring vineyard. 10 minutes to the historic Moutere Village for artisan produce, a drink at the Moutere Inn, New Zealand’s oldest pub, and many local vineyards. 15 minutes to Motueka and Mapua
