The Schoolroom @ Barbrook

This is the original Barbrook schoolroom built by the Methodists in 1870 - a large airy groundfloor space with tall windows looking out across the valley. It is now a romantic hideaway for two - an elegant but comfortable open-plan apartment featuring log stove, large bed, and window seats, plus underfloor heating, modern well-equipped kitchen and bathroom, and smart TV. It's an ideal base from which to explore all the pleasures of Exmoor by the sea, and your hosts are just next door if needed.

Bluebeard’s Rest at Heale Moor Farm is situated in the peaceful hamlet of Heale along a single-track no through road. Located within Exmoor National Park and a short distance from the historic village of Parracombe where the local pub and community shop can be found. Easy access to the moor and numerous footpaths, including trails to Heddon Valley and Heddon’s Mouth. A short drive to the beautiful North Devon Coast and many beautiful beaches.
