We run off solar and gas and invite guest to come and enjoy the quiet side of nature. Our lodge has access to many miles of trails for hiking, biking and running through our private game farm where one can get up close and personal with our resident giraffe. Surrounded by the Drakensberg mountains, our Rondavel is a 2-bedroom self-catering rustic cottage. Situated in the Monks Cowl area of the central Drakensberg. This cottage is off grid, perfect for hikers, trail runners and nature lovers alike, situated in a tranquil area. We have limited solar electricity, hot water and water straight from a nearby stream. We live simply and respect nature. The property is one of the highest private properties in this part of the mountains.

You can enjoy the tranquility, or fish from the deck, or explore the nearby attractions. The cabin is self catering, semi off-grid equipped with a gas geyser supplying hot water to the shower, and we have an ensuite septic based toilet.
