We like to think we have the best of both worlds - the benefits of farm life, yet with all the modern comforts and easy access to cafes, trails, walks, schools, markets and golf courses. Wilde Als is a beautiful spacious 2 bedroom cottage with an open plan living area and an indoor fireplace. It is set slightly away from the other cottages providing unrivalled privacy.

Tugela River Lodge is a pet friendly, self-catering Eco-Lodge, located on a private cattle and game farm on the banks of the Tugela River, near Winterton, KZN, South Africa. We run off solar and gas and invite guest to come and enjoy the quiet side of nature. Our lodge has access to many miles of trails for hiking, biking and running through our private game farm where one can get up close and personal with our resident giraffe. The sounds of the river are sure to put you to sleep at night!

Hidden in a quiet corner of our working farm it overlooks a pristine section of the Wilge River, with the famous waterfall and Nelson's Kop mountain providing spectacular scenery. Guests will be able to enjoy absolute peace, uninterrupted views and walks in almost every direction. Please note that the property is remote and the last 200m of the access road will require a high clearance vehicle.

Cathkin Peak Cottage

It's located near all the major hiking routes, making exploration an easy step out the door. Safe and convenient for single female travelers with manager living next door. No charge for children/elderly parent sleeping on lounge bed if accompanied by both parents.

Experience the peace of the meandering Mooi River, nature, livestock and the quiet bustle of an active farmyard. Splash in the river, hike trails on the hills, or relax and braai on the verrandah. The cottage is self catering, and close to Mooi River town for supplies or takeaways. There is 4km of rough dirt road to access the farm (high clearance vehicles recommended)

Our house is close to the Central Drakensberg and 5km outside of Winterton. You’ll love panoramic view of the Drakensberg. A fireplace and an entertainment area with a pool and table tennis table. Patio with braai facilities. A pool and deck. There is walk to the dam or river on the property. 3 garages. Our house is good for couples, business travelers, families (with kids), and big groups.
