Weavers Cottage is a detached 17th century stone built barn at the head of the Ullswater valley in the central Lakes. The views are stunning with panoramic views of lakeland fells and over Brotherswater. The place is pet friendly and perfect for guests who love the outdoors. Classic walks straight from the door and secure storage available for mountain bikes and canoes. After a day in the fells, toast your toes by the wood burning stove or enjoy the sunshine in the private south facing garden.

Set over three floors, surrounded by beautiful gardens, it has been renovated with great care, to the highest standard of design, using quality materials and finishes. It's open plan, with a wood-burning stove to keep you warm on an evening, with well-equipped kitchen and dining area. It has large windows with lots of natural light. The garden is abundant in wildlife throughout the year, and has a lovely terrace to sit out on with comfortable outdoor seating. It’s a great base for relaxing, enjoying wildlife, adventuring, or being creative. 11am checkout.

No.26 Kendal is a beautiful cosy cottage

No.26 is a traditional cottage situated on Greenside, which is a beautiful picturesque area of Kendal. The cottage overlooks the village green and consists of a cosy sitting room with log burner, kitchen/dining room, and WC on ground floor. The first floor accommodates a beautifully decorated double bedroom and spacious bathroom. The property benefits from an exterior porch and utility room which provides secure storage space for boots, bikes or golf clubs.

The Old Map Shop

The Old Map Shop was originally part of the village school. In more recent times it was a map shop, but then lay empty for a number of years before it was sensitively converted into a holiday property in 2020 - 2021. Caldbeck has a pub, cafes and a few shops. It is a great base for exploring the northern fells or for a stop on the Cumbria Way.

The Silo Cumbria

The Silo is a completely unique holiday stay, based in the beautiful countryside in North Cumbria. Originally a grain store tower, it has been completely reimagined and renovated as a one bedroom home-away-from-home. The unique building has retained the shape and structure of the original silo with luxury amenities and finishes throughout.

The Hayloft - a cottage on our Lake District farm

Completed in July 2020, The Hayloft is one of 3 cottages in our old stone barn near Ullswater lake in the Lake District. Bedroom one has a double bed and en suite shower, toilet and basin. Bedroom 2 can be made up as a double bed or two single beds. We can provide an extra small bed in here for a young child up to about age 7.

The house is located in the village of Stainton which is located 5 mins from the edge of the Lake District. Only 5 minutes from Penrith, 10 minutes from Ullswater and 20 minutes from Keswick! Dogs are more than welcome! We live next door so if you have any questions or problems we can quickly help you!
