Linen & towels provided. 4x4 or high clearance strongly advised PLEASE NOTE THAT THE AIRCONS ARE PROVIDED FOR COOLING THE HOUSES IN THE HOT SUMMER MONTHS BETWEEN OCTOBER AND APRIL, NOT FOR HEATING AS THE FARM IS ON SOLAR. Charming Heritage Cottage

This historic townhouse is within easy walking distance of shops and restaurants. The private courtyard is ideal for a braai (barbecue), or a quiet coffee. The house is child-friendly, and pets are welcome too. A gun-safe is provided, ideal for hunters. The stove is gas, so cooking during load-shedding is never a problem! As with many Graaff-Reinet houses, there is ONLY ON-STREET PARKING. There is also no TV.

The Tradesman

The Tradesman Shop is a quirky and historic unit with a beautiful courtyard and braai area. It is the last Tradesman shop that is still connected to the main house and dates from the 1850’s. It’s still has the original “brakdakkie”-ceiling so don’t get a fright when a piece of historic dust comes loose from the ceiling. The large courtyard at the back is a treat. Please note the unit operates on a gas geyser.
