The Honey House

The Honey House is a conservation focused eco-retreat on a 25-acre smallholding. The charming cottage is a thoughtfully designed space with an ensuite double bedroom and a cozy sleeping loft. The lovely stone cottage has a stream nearby and amazing views. There is a barbaque/braai area. We use solar power only for lighting and sockets and gas for the hob and oven. This does not support microwave, or element based gadgets. Please book this if you're truly looking for a peaceful time to unwind and are a nature sort of person happy with antique type furnishings as in the photos. WiFi can be erratic due to mountain terrain.

Mbondo Cottage is located on one of the most tranquil bays along Lake Malawi’s western shores offering perfect sunrises.
