Moel y Don is a stunning cottage situated on the water's edge looking out across the Menai Strait. It's a perfect, remote peaceful escape. We are located just 5 minutes away from the A55 making us a perfect hub from which to explore the delights of both Anglesey and Snowdonia. Also located on the famous coastal path of Anglesey. Davies Cottage, cosy, comfortable base

A perfect base for exploring the North Wales Coast. A cosy and comfortable place to return to at the end of the day. It has wifi, good quality beds and bedding and a full bathroom, with lots of towels! The Point of Ayr Nature reserve is 5 minutes away, Talacre sand dunes and lighthouse, then Prestatyn further along the coast. Ffynnongroew was a mining village, with 2 pubs a few minutes walk away, along with a take away, Post Office and small convenience store. DOGS ALLOWED, NO CATS.

A short drive to Conwy you can uncover some of the towns Medieval history including Conwy Castle, Plas Mawr and the smallest house in Great Britain.

Gwrych Castle's historic beach house, Ty Crwn, has been restored to its former glory. Situated 50 metres from the shoreline, the cottage overlooks the Irish Sea and Pensarn Beach SSSI. The beach house was built by the Lloyds of Gwrych and was last used by the Countess of Dundonald for sea bathing. The cottage is dog friendly and the grounds are all secure for dogs. The apartment is very quiet being well away from the main road.
