Welcome home to "The Scout". A cozy A-frame is nestled on 45 acres at the top of Anderson Mt., offering a peaceful escape. Unwind on the deck and take in the breathtaking views. Explore all of the areas outdoor adventures. At night, curl up by the fire pit and gaze at the stars. Inside, you'll find all the comforts of home while still glamping in the woods. Whether you're seeking a romantic retreat or a fun-filled family vacation, "The Scout" has everything you need to create lasting memories.

Hand Built Log Cabin

This cabin was completed in 1940 by previous owner's grandmother with only the help of her horses. The wood was cut from the property. Originally it had no electric or plumbing, we updated it more in 2021 keeping as much original as possible. Rustic cabin has 2 bedrooms, 1 bathroom with walk-in shower only, washer and dryer, full eat in kitchen and living room. On site you can relax watching horses, mini horses, goats, chickens & ducks as well as wild life. You can feed and pet the 🐐 goats.

Black River Cozy Cabin

This quaint cozy cabin offers a retreat from life's hustle and bustle with breathtaking views and a serene environment. The Black River Cozy Cabin is perfect for family vacations or a romantic get-away. With a secluded lake out the back door and two fire pits for roasting marshmallows and hot dogs, there are plenty of outdoor activities without even leaving the property. Of course, there is always more to explore in the area as well; including the Black River, which is just a short hike away.

Harmony Hills Cabin on The Little St Francis River

Rustic Cabin overlooking the Ozark Mountains. The Little St. Francis River is only a short walk from the scenic porch. Enjoy the serenity of nature or sit by the bonfire and enjoy a peaceful gaze at the stars. Cozy and well stocked, you'll find this place a home away from home. Bring your fishing poles, hiking boots, swim gear, kayak, a book or just kick back and relax. Please note, *** THERE IS NO WIFI or LIVE TV *** it isn't available in the area. Remodeled remote cabin with an antique modern feel, large deck overlooking the St.Francios River. Soak your cares away in the Hot Tub. The river is great for kayaking and fishing. We’re close to Silver Mines, Millstream Gardens, Taum Sauk Mountain, Amidon Conservation, Elephant Rocks, only 10 miles to Ironton or Fredericktown for food and drinks!

Overlooking the Black River and in site of the highest elevation point in Missouri this newly built in 2016 state of the art cabin has everything you need to entertain your family and friends.

Welcome to your cozy spring fed creekside cabin, nestled in the woods for those nature lovers seeking a peaceful getaway. A touch of nature with a modern design. Grab your lawn chair and head down to the creek on a hot summer day or lounge in a hammock listening to the running water. 10 min from Elephant Rocks State Park 20 min from Taum Sauk Mountain - Highest Natural Point in Missouri 20 min from Johnson’s Shut Ins Time to unplug. Phone service is limited on the property.

Nature and adventure is awaiting you at this 2 bedroom cabin. Nestled in a tranquil setting, this beautiful retreat features 1 king bed and 2 full beds. We offer AC, electric and wood heating, as well as a jetted bathtub. The cabin is near popular sights such as Taum Sauk Mountain, Elephant Rocks, and Johnson Shut-Ins. This venue is perfect for nature lovers. We offer hiking trails, a 9 acre lake, hunting, kayaking, swimming, fishing, and relaxing at this beautiful property.

Sassafras Creek Cabin

Historic log cabin circa 1840 moved to property June 2020. Take a step back in time with furniture and decor to match the cabin’s time period. Located between two houses in newly formed Ste. Genevieve National Historical Park. It is a 10 minute walk to the main part of downtown and other historic tour sites. Adjoins Early American gift shop called Sassafras Creek Originals which is housed in the circa 1850 Brooks house. Close to wineries, biking and hiking.

Oakdale Primitive Cabin (1 )@Spring Lake Ranch

This primitive cabin is a great way to connect with nature, while still being able to retreat indoors at night. Unique space but primitive, has electricity, no running water inside the cabin. You will have amazing lake views and will be close to hiking trails, horseback riding, and wine tasting at Edg Clif Wineries which is next door to us. The newly remodeled shower house has restrooms and hot showers and it is within walking distance.

The Pallet Factory (Cabin 1)

Come and have some fun at our semi- private cabin that sits on a stocked pond. We are dog friendly only. This property has 2 additional cabins and 2 houses available if needed. Each space has 5 acres creating a semi private experience to relax and enjoy the outdoors. ***please note due to drought, pond levels are extremely low.****
