Welcome to the Treshnish Shepherd’s Hut. Our charming hut sits in the corner of a field - stunning sea and island views. A perfect place to unwind and relax. Inside the well insulated hut, there is a 4’ small double bed at one end, a tiny wood stove, table and chairs, kitchenette and an ensuite shower at the other end. Outside, there is a wood -fired outdoor bath and a wood-fired pizza oven. Treshnish is a working sheep farm, on the coast, nr Calgary Beach, great for walking and exploring.

This listing is all about the romantic location of a beautiful hand painted shepherds hut called Josephine. Sitting traditionally among sheep above Loch Awe, couples, writers, photographers, bird watchers, hill walkers, swimmers wishing to get away can do so here. Relax by the woodburning stove, put the whistling kettle on for a cup of tea, watch the birds or walk into the hills behind or down to the lochside to wild swim, fish or make a bbq. Hot water in the kitchen tap. Large decking area with BBQ. A wood fired hot tub will make your break special. Close to the bus stop. A good base for hikers as the nearest route approaches Goatfell from Glen Sannox via the Saddle onto North Goatfell. Walking distance to a local pub Corrie Hotel and Mara fish bar.

Muin Shepherd Hut currently has building works being carried out some 25m to the rear for the new Kilchoan Community Shop (please see exterior pics for proximity). Muin comes complete with: a 2kw Shower (2 minutes of hot water/5 minutes to re-heat) toilet, sink, Belfast sink, fridge, ceramic hob, Air Fryer, underfloor heating, wood burning stove, TV, Double bed with King size duvet, decked area, enclosed private garden (dog friendly) and views over to the Isles of Mull and Atlantic Ocean.

Ethel’s Coorie Doon is a self-contained shepherd’s hut nestled within the grounds of Craig Villa Guest House. Fully insulated, fully equipped, and boasts mountain views. Ethel's Coorie Doon is perfect for couples and solo adventurers who want to explore the local area. We welcome up to 2 furry friends, but please note, there is a pet fee of £14. We provide information for local walks and hidden gems, local restaurants and pubs. We provide free parking and storage if you arrive by bike.

Get away from it all in our shepherd's hut located just outside the village of Connel and only a ten minute drive from the bustling seaside town of Oban. The accommodation is located on our family croft (we live on site near to the shepherds hut) with ducks, hens, Hebridean sheep and our two ponies as your closest neighbours. We are surrounded by abundant wildlife such as pine martens and red deer and have outstanding views over unspoiled countryside towards the slopes of Ben Cruachan.
