Upstairs there are two bedrooms and a half bath. One room has a Queen/Twin bunk bed. One has a daybed with a trundle, allowing beds for 2/3 in each room. Walking distance to the Thibodaux Regional Health System, within two miles of Nicholls State University, The Bayou Country Children's Museum and Historic Downtown Thibodaux. There is plenty to explore.

Maps says 15 minutes to Downtown Lafayette, 10 minutes to Downtown Youngsville, and 12 minutes from the airport! One queen size bed, one fold out twin bed in closet, and a sofa. Sleeps up to three. Comfy and cozy get away. I am NOT LOCATED IN LAFAYETTE, so if you stay here please understand that you could be 10 to 20 minute drive depending on your destination

Bayou Teche Cottage

Cajun Cottage located on the Bayou Teche in Downtown New Iberia's Historic Main St. The property is lined with old Oak and Cypress trees with a beautiful view of the bayou. Walking distance from restaurants, bars, and shopping. 8 miles from Avery Island. Light breakfast items, coffee, milk, and juice provided. The cottage is a private space with kitchenette, living area, separate bedroom, and screened in patio. Very private and peaceful setting.

Slow down and be transported to another time and place in this 1834 creole cottage along Bayou Teche. The huge live oaks with their draped Spanish moss surround the home. The home features a huge back porch overlooking the bayou to do some birdwatching. The center hall allows for a nice breeze. There’s a queen bed and claw foot tub downstairs, two full beds and bathroom upstairs.
