Escape from NYC and enjoy a slower pace in this bright and spacious historic home, just a short walk to the Hudson River where you can sit by the water, enjoy a picnic, or kayak. This home is made for entertaining and is stocked with everything you need to cook a wonderful meal (cast irons, French cookware, baking supplies, spices and oils). There is a little view of the river from the backyard where you can also build a fire. 1 queen bed, 1 full bed and one full air mattress also available.

Summer, fall, winter or spring, the cottage welcomes you, complete with a gift basket and fresh flowers. Enjoy the view of the lake off the spacious deck or play games in the grassy yard complete with fire pit for roasting marshmallows. Waterfront is only a minute or two walking distance away.

The Writer's Cottage is a tiny white house on a country road; vintage, complete, and inspiring. Built in the nineteenth century, it's perfect for a solo traveler or a pair of travelers exploring the Berkshires and the Hudson Valley. If you like rustic buildings, you'll be a fan of the cottage; it's an incredibly cozy time warp. Queen bed and living quarters downstairs; airy loft up a narrow set of enclosed stairs. There's an orchard and lawn with grill, hammock and ironwork table.

This 1860 river house is 1/2 mile from the charming Village of Coxsackie NY and a central location to many great destinations such as Hudson, Woodstock, Athens, and Catskill.

Enjoy the beautiful fall foliage on our small private pond. You can bring your kayak or canoe to enjoy the wildlife that abounds or catch & release in our pond.

Remodeled apartment on 2nd floor of a 1910 Victorian house near the center of Winsted, CT. The apartment is unique and cozy, with large windows, some stained glass, tin ceilings, hand painted kitchen cabinets, and plants. Close proximity to all Litchfield County and the Berkshires have to offer, in all seasons. It's an easy drive from NYC or Boston. Great weekend get-away.

The room is light and airy with morning sun and the shade of the large front porch in the afternoon. This is a place to enjoy a meal or just lounge and relax with a view of the gardens and surrounding woods. This space features a private entrance, a kitchenette and full bathroom and very comfortable queen bed. In mid July 2024 we added air conditioning.
