The early 18C cottage is a part of our home but totally self contained. It retains many of the features of the time and is full of character. The two doubles are a good size and have wardrobes and shelving. Both have tea and coffee making facilities. The property enjoys two bathrooms; each close to the each of the bedrooms. There is a large lounge with a wood burning stove, ample seating, TV/DVD player and a piano. The large kitchen has a range, microwave cooker and dishwasher.

We are very close (7 mins walk, 2 mins cycle) to Gloucester Road which is the longest street of independent shops in Britain. Also nearby is Bristol city centre, Clifton suspension bridge, the zoo, the Downs, Banksy graffiti/Stokes Croft, Whiteladies Rd, Clifton village, an independent cinema and many independent cafes/coffee shops.

Old Stables, hidden period gem, spectacular garden

Hillside Stables is a separate annexed building, to the main house, a hidden period gem with spectacular gardens. This Grade II Listed home and family house, dates back to 1715 with some extensions c.1820. We renovated the separate old stables building to build a mezzanine king-sized bed deck and shower room in this completely separate private annex, with its own entrance.
